Male and Female, nylon insulated, 1/4” wide, flat blade terminals.  (1/4” is a standard size) Fully interlocking, they fit together tightly and make a handy “quick disconnect” for a wire.

The female terminal is also great for plugging wires onto switches, and factory terminals (like the accessory terminals at the fuse box).

These 56 SERIES terminals are a must for working with GM wiring from the Muscle Car period (and later too).  The terminals are inserted into “connector bodies” where wires connect to electrical system parts.  They are found at switches, voltage regulators, alternators, firewall bulkhead connectors, and wire harness connectors.  (1/4” wide, brass)

Custom work with wiring will often require these terminals.  And often wire harness on old cars is generally in good condition, but with some sore spots that need attention.  Old corroded terminals and sometimes broken wires next to terminals are examples of use for these terminals.  The old terminals can be removed from the connector bodies and replaced with new.  (Ask for our publication with instructions for work with these terminals.)
